Random - Musical Guest
Random, aka Mega Ran, Big Ran or Random Beats. Half-teacher, half musician, all hustle. A 14-year music veteran, Philadelphia native and Phoenix transplant, Random's bars are filled with all of the heartache, pain, triumph, tragedy and fun that come with everyday living. A graduate of Penn State University and middle school instructor, Random speaks to the everyman, transcending race or class barriers."I never want anyone to predict my next move," he says. You can, however, expect the unexpected from Random, hence the name.

It all started with The Call, Random’s political and spiritually charged debut album in 2006, which went on to rave reviews and critical acclaim. The Call is now being utilized in university coursework in several colleges in the US.

For his stunning follow-up, Random stayed true to his moniker and released the fun filled video-game tribute album Mega Ran, which continues to reach new heights after video game corporation CAPCOM offered Random an exclusive licensing agreement, leading to movie soundtrack placements and press coverage in Blender, Wired and several other magazines.
